    @silas0307 When in a calorie deficit you can reduce the amount of lean tissue you lose by having a rigorous weightlifting regimen. But the bigger the deficit the more likely you are to lose lean mass with the fat.

    @wally1648 I totally get the rationale behind doing higher rep (8-10) warmup sets, but I've seen a lot of weightlifting pros/influencers saying it's better to do lower reps as you still prepare your body for the weight, but you don't cause any fatigue.
