    High Blood Pressure from KB’s

@nac27 Exactly. A structured strength program and 30 mins of low intensity cardio 3-4 times a week should sort him out!

    High Blood Pressure from KB’s

@jimpncc Is this your only training? I saw Michael Mosley talking about this kind of exercise routine in a tv show about heart health, where office workers would take 2 minute intervals on a bike to break up their day. They had good results, but were not doing any exercise outside of this...

    Weight Progression (KB sport)

@missy9211 I was listening to The Platform podcast with Denis Vasilev, his advice for beginners was 1, get the technique, 2, make the 10 minute set, 3, work on your numbers / ranking. Even if you can build your 12kg sets, time and reps per minute, this will make the jump to a heavier bell...

    Getting stronger after 50

@michaelgre2021 This is awesome. Have you always worked out? I only started when I hit 40, and have lost about 6-7kg of fat and gained about 7-8kg of muscle mass. Still a bit of a dad bod, but stronger and fitter than ever. Heavier weights, good form, and dialling in recovery make all the...

    Getting stronger after 50

    Getting stronger after 50

@heart2soul Consistency is key and having evolving goals all help. A coach can help too. And being ok with plateaus and knowing when you need to change things up a bit. I'm a couple of years away from 50, but looking at some decent goals to work towards. And really happy with kettlebells as the...

    Feeling after workout

@premier3092 Is that a polite way of saying "a sweaty mess, lying on the floor in a cloud of chalk, sucking for air, cursing my coach but still happy to be alive"?
