    Should I add an “accessory“ day to my plan?

    @blueskies88 Try doing those after basketball practice so you still have a rest day. Also doesn't the basketball team do strength training anyways during practice? That's what it was for me.

    How much should I rest after intense training?

    @prodigio I think you should rest every other day and workout every other day so like 3-4x a week. Remember muscles grow during the actual rest not the workout.
