Do I just accept that weight loss isn't linear before I yeet the scale out the window?

@livingme7 Oh there was an unplanned 2 month diet break due to travel where I managed to stay on maintenance. Edit: During the 2 year weight loss I’ve not done more than 16 weeks at a time without a diet break so since I had a long 2 month diet break I decided to just bang out the rest of the...

Do I just accept that weight loss isn't linear before I yeet the scale out the window?

@deigratiavivere Thank you very much I guess I just have to ignore the scale and trust the process. I was thinking there’s no way I’m not in a deficit I suppose it’s just a waiting game.

Do I just accept that weight loss isn't linear before I yeet the scale out the window?

@deigratiavivere You don’t believe how helpful and reliving this is lol! Yes I’ve been tracking super accurately on spreadsheets for the past 2 years now using a food scale and minimizing anything that would require guesstimation until the end of this cut. Patience it is then lol.

Do I just accept that weight loss isn't linear before I yeet the scale out the window?

@jesus111 Tbh I’ve been trying my best to keep them a good 10 hours apart and make sure that I utilize my rest days to rest from both So for example I’ll be in the gym for 8:00am and have MMA at 5:30pm and I just make sure I eat and relax well in between. Tuesdays & Fridays are rest days from...

Do I just accept that weight loss isn't linear before I yeet the scale out the window?

@lisa66uk Week 2 average was 12.3k so about 3-3.5k step increase per day as week 3 & 4 averages are about 15.5

Do I just accept that weight loss isn't linear before I yeet the scale out the window?

@lisa66uk I’m guessing it’s probably the latter if it’s not a lengthier weight loss plateau, reason why I suspect it may be my body severely down regulating NEAT as you’ve said is because my step count was increased after week 2 so even though I’ve increased the step count in week 3 & 4 I’ve...

Do I just accept that weight loss isn't linear before I yeet the scale out the window?

@heartnsoul19 Thank you so much for your comments and for your encouragement I appreciate it! I guess I’ll monitor and see perhaps it’s either a weight loss plateau or I’m actually a lot closer to maintenance than presumed.

Do I just accept that weight loss isn't linear before I yeet the scale out the window?

@dawn16 Okay I see what you mean, I honestly wouldn't have gone on this endeavour if it wasn't for the fact that I've been accurately tracking calories well for the past 2 years + felt like the quantity of food I was eating (proportion wise) was the same at 2300 as it would be at 1600 if I...

@dawn16 Thank you for your comment! I get the unnecessary part but what makes you say it’s counterproductive?

Do I just accept that weight loss isn't linear before I yeet the scale out the window?

Hey guys, Disclaimer; I know I am on quite a harsh deficit and am fully aware of it but since it is supervised by an advanced natural bodybuilder who knows his stuff I'm not worried, I just need insight on the weight issue. Weight loss isn't ever exceeding 1.5% of my total body weight and I'm...
