@zylogz80 If you want to be good at doing pushups slowly then I suggest you practice them slowly. If you want to be able to do many in an adrenaline rush of sorts, I’d work on getting the strength and endurance needed to just do 100

@student101 I feel as if push ups really helped me bench press too. I’m 17, 195, and my one rep max is 340 lbs. the question isn’t whether there is or isn’t a carryover, it’s by how much (granted it may be slight but definitely evident).
The notorious 100 push ups is commonly a goal attributed with mastering the push up. Not many get there but those that do surely earn bragging rights. And that’s exactly what the challenge I have in mind is: 100 nonstop push ups.
