Idk how ppl in this sub are able to do low cal w/ 100 g+ of protein daily and workout so rigorously- I’m struggling with 1700 cals😭

@dikaioumenoi half my protein comes from protein powder Also I have SICK protein oats recipe that I'm gonna share. It's soo good and clocks in 30g+ protein Ingredients: 30g plain quick oats 1 scoop (go big, get a real big scooop) of your favourite (sugar free, clean as possible) flavour of...

Not everybody will have a bubble butt. And that’s okay.

@g3ntl3w4rri0r Oh 100% In the same vein, not everyone can have defined abs (and maintain them). One of the fittest most incredible women I've ever seen had a little square butt. It was very cute. Some of us are slender, some of us are stocky (hello), some girls have larger waists, some have...

Short torso girlies, where are you?!

@huckleberrymom No no no no no no no ahahah I've got wide as FUCK hips, big arms, big thighs and massive tiddeis, set with tiny hands and feet, and I look "stocky" (or, societally, fat), at any healthy weight. When I had a bmi of 16, my hips measured 36 inches round. Like they're the reason...

Short torso girlies, where are you?!

@jesseyoung20 Hi lol I realised pretty quick I was never going to be slender so I'm going for that fantasy dwarven/halfling stockiness instead lol Compressed amazonian warrior.

Do any of you just NOT have defined goals?

@mayne70 My goal is to "be a strong girl", "see muscle" and "get built" lol I suppose I have a defined goal of getting to 20% body fat, but I don't exactly check it often enough for it to be something I track. And if I get to that body fat, my goal will just be "add muscle" or "get stronger"...

What items do I need to get started at a gym?

@leasaithe All you need is water, a sports bra and a breatheable outfit you can move well in.

Struggling to understand the concept of “water weight” and why it shouldn’t count. Shouldn’t it?

@aftergodsheart Because unlike fat it fluctuates. Of course there's nuance. If you're a model prepping for a shoot, the water weight certainly does count. If you're trying to lose fat, it does not count.

I'm doing everything right. Why am I not losing fat/weight?

@mon4thelord If you're only doing strength training, you're not increasing your TDEE with cardio (which is FINE) the scale may not be moving but you may be gaining muscle, but cause we're ladies the amount of muscle we can gain on average per month without chemical intervention is uh...

Calorie deficit and gym 3-4 times a week and not losing weight?

@thomasjh I ended up going black (but high quality) with my coffee/tea and I do believe it's made a world of difference. I mean if a spoonful of honey is 50kcal and a splash of milk is 10, but I have 3 a day, I'm still wasting 150 kcal, which at my height is significant!

Calorie deficit and gym 3-4 times a week and not losing weight?

@thomasjh "It's usually estimated about", "about a cup" There's your problem. Honestly if I were you, just cut the creamer from your coffees and you're immediately in a 200kcal/day deficit. Other than that you are eating a lot of carbs. Make your proteins the star of the show. And get rid of...

Cardio vs weights.. what my dietitian recommended

@kroglk51 Okay so I love lifting and have been doing it for years, but I recently started running to train for a mud run obstacle course this summer (first ever official sporting event) and honestly my legs ACHE after a run and I can't argue with the results that I've gained additional muscle in...
