    CrossFit Quarterfinals Weekend Thread

@revjrm2047 I agree with you from the perspective of finding the fittest. However from the perspective of the semi competitive athlete it's pretty fun and a good second test to see where you stand with the more difficult movements. It's also good from a financial perspective for CrossFit.

@bapi1 I don't think so. I think I that is the exception and not the rule and generally only applies when specifically stated.

    23.2A and B 90th percentile scores

@theinformer The 255 failure was interesting. Vellner has seemed to be struggling with his overhead movements over the last two years, I wonder if this is another of the same instance.

@haytem That makes sense to me. It doesn't make a lot of sense to me to give AGOQ the same volume but less time.

[warning: data] The Outliers -- 2018 Open results with normalized rankings

[warning: data] The Outliers -- 2018 Open results with normalized rankings

My box is setting up an “800 g Challenge”. Any anecdotes about participating or info about effects?

@starrysunsets To my knowledge this is based on a meta analysis that showed eating 600g-800g had an effect on lifespan in general as well as improving longevity in people with cancer and cardiovascular disease. Source: https://academic.oup.com/ije/article/46/3/1029/3039477
