Possible to be in good cardio shape but very fat?

@ms7dc I started running when I was 14, and I was really overweight at the time. I lost weight, but it look a couple of years, and I was still overweight at the end of my high school career. But getting in good shape cardio wise came so much quicker than the weight loss. At the fastest I've...

Is there a trusted "Has-it-all-vitamin" for Men?

@mturling Honestly, it’s best to only take vitamins you have deficiencies of. Vitamin D, you probably do, just like statistically likely. Aside from that, you don’t really need to do anything generally.

They say old guys shouldn’t lift heavy weights

@kittykatherine My plan is to try 35 pull-ups with 35 pounds for my 35th birthday. Like, in sets of 5 though.

How do you respond (and deal with it internally) when someone asks you if you are “still lifting”?

@danielkibby I have a story I think about that helps me deal with this. Once, I went to a health food store, and there was a guy selling protein. I talked to him for a bit, and he was nice. He seemed fit, but he was wearing a baggy sweatshirt and jeans. It was hard to tell how big he was. I...

I picked up a nice set of plates for a good price on facebook marketplace, and was talking about my situation to the guy who sold them to me. He was like "oh yeah, gym time is out of the question when...

What's your daily schedule look like?

@truewolf12 At your physical, they should check to see if you're deficient in vitamin D. Most people are. And it's very inexpensive to supplement. It's not going to be a night and day difference, but it does feel better to have it at a sufficient amount. And every little bit helps.

    Thoughts on Thomas Delauer's Macro's: 225g Potein | 100g Carbs | 100g Fat @180lbs

@tongdtbds3 Basic on their post history, it’s either a vary committed troll account, or someone who is looking for short cuts to basically everything. The username checks out though, so maybe none of this is sincere.

    Most important non-gym habits?

@nilesetc It’s also something that I don’t think people consider enough when famous people get in shape. Like, they might be enhancing. But something they are for sure doing is having a schedule based around them always getting enough sleep. And people who can make sure they eat exactly right...

I’m stuck on my average run time and I don’t know what to do

@hightechredneck When I get stuck on times and want to go faster, the two ways I've always approached it are: go slower and longer next time. This seems to be the general advice for improving running. go on the treadmill, and force myself to go .1 mph faster than I normally would. (but I use...
