Please reassure me my home gym isn’t dumb

@evachristine Sounds like a bitter person or a bitter comment tbh. Why are you embarrassed though? I have some gym equipment as well but I need to go to the gym every once in a while. Like sometimes I get distracted with my home gym but other times I'll actually workout. I honestly think...

@austinrnewton Thank you! I also have to keep this in mind when I'm being a bit hard on myself. Honestly, I do feel bad for letting myself get this heavy and staying this heavy. When there's people out there with more on their plate and they're fit. I'm trying to be mindful and grateful 🙏...

Advice for making strength training at home not so boring?

@schulte No problem. I use Spotify and also wear booty shirts and mirrors just to add to the pump. See the muscles I'm working out.

@jamieredheaduk I wasn't trying to be rude about it! I honestly think living here makes you prone to being overweight given the food, typical non walkable lifestyle and work schedule!!

Do you have to have a structured workout routine to see results? Can I wing it every day and still experience the benefits of strength training?

@mihai_1991 I feel a lot more in tune with my body. My endurance has gone way up. I naturally love running outdoors and got into lifting in college. and used too be pretty fit in college. I stopped for a bit but now I'm getting back into it. So getting back into running I feel like I have more...

Do you have to have a structured workout routine to see results? Can I wing it every day and still experience the benefits of strength training?

@mihai_1991 I believe so, I opted for healthier food and less processed foods. Also fast (skip breakfast) I did a combo of walking and jogging outdoors. Which I enjoy and my muscle memory has kicked in and now I feel like I've progressed a lot. I have some weights and barbells and every now...
