    I tried naked yoga today..

@relliott28 I may have to try this, if I can find the time/privacy. I’m finding myself at sort of a crossroads right now. In my 40s, having run the gambit from morbidly obese to malnourished from disordered eating, having been enrolled in my first weight loss program at the age of 11 or 12, I...

    DEXA Results: 29F, 5'5", 126.1 lbs, 18.4% BF

@tinabugs77 I believe I've read DEXA scans have a margin of error of +/- 5% so it's possible that you're closer to the caliper measurement than you think - I don't know what the margin of error is for calipers - I've heard that if done correctly, they're pretty accurate. In any event - it's...

getting fit seems pointless to me as i don’t enjoy exercise or less food/healthful food. isn’t life about finding joy? help change my mind

@promiseokon What DO you enjoy? I feel like having a foundation of fitness will help support just about anything you want to do. Pre Workout

@lil_worried I do pre-workout occasionally if I know it’s going to be a really hard workout or I’m really dragging. I don’t use it every day - I’ve read you will build up a tolerance to it if used regularly. Plus the one I use is pretty strong and I am just leery of using something like that...

Do you guys have opinions on Wendler's "North of the V**" concept?

@cz1611 I read the book and rolled my eyes at the “north of vag” mentality. He appears to be a smart guy when it comes to weight lifting but not very advanced, socially or emotionally. The way I see it: If you break down my gym into 100 people there are 5 women who come in, work hard, keep...

Of all the places I have looked for self love, I had no idea I would find it at the gym

@bill01 Beautiful. I can relate to everything you said, just short of you “today”. So many of the things you described from your past are where I’ve been, even as recently as last week. I’m not there 100%, but I can’t wait to get where you are today.
