Hello! Back from my post from yesterday:) advice on Creatine, 24F 5’10

@michellenoel Yes, but better go with creapure certified options (Nakpro also has it) No you won't lose any of your hair, it is a myth and several studies have been done on it to back the claim. Post workout with a carb rich meal, mix in lukewarm water. 3-5 g per day, loading is not needed. In...

Please help - Non dairy, non meat sources of protein to make up 100g per day-1750kcal

@katherineeee Avoid soy chunks please, specially in your condition it’s not recommended. I would have even asked you to avoid tofu but I understand you’ve budget concerns. Push-ups - how about, pressing movements like dumbbell/barbell chest press? Also, have you tried negative pushups?

    PLEASE SELECT BRAND NAMES!!

@1more4christ Wrong, research clearly shows that there are no additional benefits of taking more than 1.6 G protein per kg of bodyweight.

Please help - Non dairy, non meat sources of protein to make up 100g per day-1750kcal

@katherineeee If you want an affordable brand, literally any other brand which is cheaper than these two would be okay. Yes the quality and sourcing of raw materials is somewhat debatable but not at all a bad option. Mainly the flavours and tastes are the deal breakers in plant protein...

Please help - Non dairy, non meat sources of protein to make up 100g per day-1750kcal

@katherineeee Cosmix is the best. Unived is great too, it’s not pea and brown rice mix but it has all the essential amino acids. Excellent quality.👌

Review my split kindly suggest any changes..

@rosebud921 You’re most welcome 🙏 How are you performing it? Like this? If yes, then no this position doesn’t lengthen the long head. Dips are hard on shoulders, there is more load on shoulders than triceps and lower chest. You need to learn to do it right to make sure you’re minimising...

Please help - Non dairy, non meat sources of protein to make up 100g per day-1750kcal

@katherineeee It’s is completely okay to have as many eggs you need to meet your protein requirements. Add once more scoop of plant protein and 2-4 eggs whites. You’ll reach the 100grams target.

Please help - Non dairy, non meat sources of protein to make up 100g per day-1750kcal

@katherineeee Plant protein scoop is the best option for you. Peas + Brown rice plant protein would be better. Second best option is egg whites (whole eggs are also fine but it will depend on your calorie budget and lipid profile)

@gabechosen15 These two explain it well enough. If you still face some issue. DM me the video of you doing the movement so that I can see where you’re lacking

@rosebud921 Finally I’m seeing a workout plan here which doesn’t have unnecessary volume. Your plan is pretty good. If done correctly, training close to failure and decent intensity with good diet which contains 2x protein per kg body weight and 300/400 calories deficit. You’ll grow. Just a few...

Is this a correct way to calculate Calorie Deficit?

@revrude Best formula is to start a diet at x amount of calories be it any form/method of calculation. Follow the diet sincerely for 2 weeks. Check weight everyday(take weekly average) if the trend is going down, continue with the same diet, if not, double check your calories calculation, make...

    Are these supplements good enough?

@grezia Bro get the report checked from a doctor don't self diagnose. Or atleast get it by a nutritionist. You may share it with me over DM if you like. Supplementation doesn't work this way, you have to correlate it to, symptoms, reason of deficiency, and correlation with other blood markers...

Most affordable good protein powder ?

@hungphatads123 Which brands are you looking at bro? There are good affordable brands like Asitis Atom, Nakpro, Muscle Nectar, which provide 1kg whey (26 - 28 servings) between ₹1600(if you can get on a sale/discount code) - ₹2000. Secondly, you can also look into skimmed milk powder...

Help please! How much calories should i take for lean muscle gain?Is US navy method correct for body fat?

@jenfer It is pretty obvious that anything with high fiber content will eventually be hard to consume in excess. But at the same time, fructose sensitivity is a real thing. Furthermore, excess fiber intake can be detrimental as it may decrease absorption of essential nutrients and also...

Help please! How much calories should i take for lean muscle gain?Is US navy method correct for body fat?

@jenfer Because modern day fruits are pretty sugary, and fructose causes digestion issues to quite a few people.

How do y’all work on your shoulders on a PPL routine

@susiec First thing you should look into is if you’re engaging your shoulders in chest and triceps movements unnecessarily, you might want to look into your form. If you’re doing a bench press/dumbbell press or even machine press for that matter are you taking your elbows way back behind your...

Help please! How much calories should i take for lean muscle gain?Is US navy method correct for body fat?

@jenfer Saturated fat is stable under heat, and overall ghee has high smoking point. But cholesterol is not a stable structure, it has multiple double bonds, cholesterol doesn’t wait for smoking point to hit before it starts oxidising. Also, pretty much no oil is safe considering the typical...

Help please! How much calories should i take for lean muscle gain?Is US navy method correct for body fat?

@jenfer A big no for using ghee in cooking. Has cholesterol which oxidises easily which forms oxysterols, and oxysterols are linked with cancer heart stroke pretty often. Yes it has higher amount of saturated fat as well. Can be used as a topping on prantha/roti/dal etc but avoid cooking in it

@beachydeb The studies maybe old, but these are high quality Randomised control trials. All the new studies now are mostly soy industry focused. I can go in detail about this if you like.
