    @pmichel It's because you're properly recovered now, so your performance is peaking. Also you're still a beginner, so almost any stimulation will make you grow stronger. You won't get much progress out of it for long though, as it's just not enough work, but training once a week will stop...

    @boldpastor I don't follow influencers either, they're all a waste of time. Learn from someone with a science-based training method. Here's one as an example, with a spreadsheet that you can enter your weights into. It's Mike Israetel's program, and his methods are pretty well...

    @boldpastor Try doing a program with a built in progression, instead of sets that are - as another commenter pointed out - all over the place. That way you'll be able to track increasing strength (not necessarily your 1RM but your 8 or 10 rep max).
