I made an intermediate routine with a focus on building muscle

@4bloodmoons If you just started to exercise you're better off doing a full body routine 3x a week rather than a push/pull split such as our recommended routine: https://www.reddit.com/r/bodyweightfitness/wiki/kb/recommended_routine

Sunday Show Off - The thread where every thing you share is considered badass!

@groo101 Achievements of the week[end]. First time I held a handstand where I was able to consciously control my breath evenly. Earlier this week I was able to go into HS and actually manipulate between anterior and posterior pelvic tilt (hollow) back and forth consciously again. Yesterday I...

I made an intermediate routine with a focus on building muscle

@darciam It shouldn't be difficult. If there's a will there's a way, seriously. Why should you or I lower our own standards when people make excuses steeped in bull shit? We shouldn't.

I made an intermediate routine with a focus on building muscle

@darciam Yea people are lazy (ironically) about working out. Anyway, you could make multiple videos showing boxes/stair-steps/ledges at different heights, lol.

I made an intermediate routine with a focus on building muscle

@darciam Gotcha. You really need to fix those pike push up vids tho. Well when you "tested" it out on people, did you not tell them it's a variable progression and they need to use a lower box overtime? And there should be ZERO excuse for not finding the "box" with the right level. (Whether...

What is the proper scapular and thoracic positioning (aka form) for the support hold?

@ndubuisi Thoracic should be neutral. Just note that "neutral" for t-spine is kyphotic (slightly flexed = neutral).

What is the proper scapular and thoracic positioning (aka form) for the support hold?

@ndubuisi Neutral/protracted is clearly the consensus.

I made an intermediate routine with a focus on building muscle

@darciam Cool, just some thoughts outloud: It says Routine 30-60minutes. I'm not sure how this could take 30 minutes when rest time alone is 20-22 minutes if you calculate 1.5-2 minutes between each set though not including the actual exercising? (Especially with a unilateral movement like the...

Diamond pushups use more chest than wide pushups (from a study that also examined standard, pseudo-planche and simplified Lalanne pushups)

@thomaslowrens I do whatever I want. There are many ways to skin a cat. You won't need as much of a lean if you can put a lot of weight and the advantage of that is less wrist aggravation.

Diamond pushups use more chest than wide pushups (from a study that also examined standard, pseudo-planche and simplified Lalanne pushups)

@thomaslowrens Probably all of them. LOL... I have little faith in humanity. I do like all the suggestions you gave though. Weighted PPPU's are cumbersome to setup (I often ask a friend to put the weight on me) but so great for effectiveness.
