    zone 2 & zone 5 training with KB's (instead of a bike!)

@brownie I wonder how would you execute zone 2 training using kettlebells? Long farmer walks or swings with 6 kg kettlebells? Weekly pecifically targeted zone 5 training sounds horrible by the way, what is that about? And have you gotten your zones measured in a lab or otherwise? Note that HR...

    Kettlebell weight recommendation

@theheretic If you're already that good with rowing and skierg and your 90 kg bodyweight is at relatively low fat, it seems you're in very good shape and you'll be able to handle a heavy KB to start with. I disagree with the other commenter: 24 kg is too light for deadlifts and I also think with...

    What’s a strong press?

@cavitill To me it appears unbalanced: a 130 kg deadlift is much "easier" than a 100 kg bench press, or am I missing something? If you can bench 100 but deadlift 130, you skipped a lot of leg days.

Is S&S really enough? Read mor for context. Im pretty new to this fitness thing

@mr_loevinger Currently I always start with an extended warm up, then S&S and then I add other exercises to taste. This makes the routine entertaining and low threshold, because on the off days, I'll just do the minimum and be happy with it. On better days I can add a lot of exercises and I can...

    Opinion about heart rate monitor

@kidspray2 Depending on your personal heart rate zones which are highly personal this could be all zone 2 or zone 3. You'd have to know your zones to know for sure. But if you're a middle aged 30-40 yo average man, this is probably already too much to be considered a "light workout". A light...

    Feeling after workout

@tutrinhatpro Your KB weights are too low and there's no need to be so precise with fixed rest times: it's ok to start your next set when you feel like doing so. I've read the Simple & Sinister book, it's a very easy read and I found it very insightful. Heart rates are very personal and...
