Keep reps higher or weights higher during weight loss?

@christian1488 To me, I like intensity. But either works. High intensity increases risks of injury but lets you reduce the loss of strength.

How to eat 190g of protein a day as a vegan on a calorie deficit?

@iowakid8401 You're 2 weeks in, you don't need 200g of protein, and I eat that amount of calories while being basically bed ridden... Eat healthy food that's high in protein (lentils, beans, oats, quinoa, tofu, tempeh) combined with stuff that's low caloric density (vegetables, fruits, ...) and...

Newbie Vegan Here¡ My story and looking for some tips at the end

@cjwalker There's nothing very specific imo. B12 should be supplemented, D you might not need, selenium is often mentionned but I never heard of deficiency, eat a variety of stuff, eat a lot, done. If you're bored, you can look up stuff from mic the vegan online, simnett nutrition is quite...

When are we actually going to start talking fitness?

@jonathanxr So define fitness. Powerliftets have always been part of "fitness", and so have extrrmely flexible yogi. "Fitness" largrly means "I'm doing something else than sitting at a desk" these days.

I need help converting my low carb high protein diet into a vegan diet

@faith11238206 Ah, oh. Hmm. Not entirely sure what happened then. A low carb diet will lead to water loss. I guess then most of the protein simply got turned into glucose, which is not that great tbh. Edit: but if you want to do such a diet, tofu and seitan are gonna be your friends.

I need help converting my low carb high protein diet into a vegan diet

@faith11238206 Keto is essentially water loss. There's no point in focusing on low carb, other than fucking up your body. Aiming for a high-ish amount of protein helps with losing fat, but you're not at a point where it's critical imo. So the same thing applies as to roughly everyone: -...

    How to progress pull-ups? (F25)

@uncharted I wouldn't recommend weighted pull-ups to someone that does barely 5, but that's just me, I'm already constantly injured.

    How to progress pull-ups? (F25)

@notmyname You don't see gymnasts training once a week 🤷🏼‍♂️. You need to accumulate enough volume somehow.

Question/Help: Tips or advice for constant bruising?

@macbarb Got no idea what kind of bodyfat we're talking, but that's way too low unless your ideal weight is like 40kg.

I need help converting my low carb high protein diet into a vegan diet

@faith11238206 Tempeh is a (usually) soy-based "block", similar in shape to tofu, but the beans aren't blended. It's a different process and tends to have a ehm... special taste. It's also not always readily available. Seitan is essentially gluten. You can sometimes buy gluten in stores, or...

    Vegetarian - meeting protein targets

@ba66e77 This doesn't add up, at all. It's either too high protein or too low fat.
