    5’3” ladies over 30, what are your maintenance calories and activity level?

    @freds Im 5’2”. 48yo. Most days i do 10k steps without specific exercise my maint cals come in around 1450-1500. On days where i do some gym and a decent walk or run i come in around 1800-1900. Maybe even 2000. Id love it to be closer to 10000 just to eat cheesecake 😂

    @jacob2848 At 48 im feeling it get harder now despite my efforts to offset it. Energy levels and managing injury id say are my biggest challenge rather than blaming just “age”.

    @jesusisking1 Spreading the same weight over a smaller length = less spreading lengthwise means it adds to widthwise far more noticably. 8 lbs is literally the difference between my very unhappy now to my ideal body. Its ALOT.

    @indent For me id always say do both. Start light. Start easy. The thing is by adding muscle - even if you cant SEE it due to too much padding - that it is metabolically active and so more muscle will see you need more calories. This in turn slowly makes losing fat that bit easier. It means...
