Looking for advice , resources, tips or encouragement on overcoming definition plateaus and bodybuilding

@zach2 Man I don’t have much to add, other people have said good stuff. I’m in a similar feeling boat though. Let’s just keep trooping on and focus on the process, let the results come :)

Question thread for our AMA with Eric Helms of 3DMJ!

@peggys He has a flow chart in his book that talks about this. The answer would be to increase volume if you ARE NOT PROGRESSING, feel recovered enough to do so, and all of these are occurring: sleep 8+ hours, caloric surplus, protein .7g/lb or more, 2x muscle/lift frequency, not over/under...

Behind at 5 Weeks Out - Need Advice

@dawn16 Yeah it’s wild. r/weightroom really fucked me up honestly. With “arms get hit by compounds” and “if you’re 5’7” or taller you should be 200+lb”. Good sub for strength, absolutely terrible for BB. To look decent over 200 you need like 160lb of lean mass minimum. Which no beginners have lol

Question thread for our AMA with Eric Helms of 3DMJ!

@jj6211 Hey Eric, I know it’s a few days late but I had a question on this. I love the inside out programming and letting the “split” naturally occur (although for me it usually just ends up being like a full body haha) My question is, is there any concern for spreading your lifts out too...

@jj6211 This is where your adding/subtracting volume flow chart from the book is helpful haha. How often would you recommend stepping back and assessing progress? Is it shorter like a month, or more like several months?
