[Conversation!] This girl does awesome moves in the weightroom :D Also, tips for muscle up?

@legendforlife The swing is called a kip - you'll see that in the video it's even marked as a kipping bar muscle up. There are lots of progressions and tutorials out there (like this one) if you search.

    I lost 15lbs, I'm 5'7'' and 123 lbs, but I'm still a size 8. Can I do something about it?

@accurateknowledge Do a search here for some of our progress posts and read the FAQ section on recomping or doing a slow bulk. Muscle takes up less space per pound than fat so you can gain weight, have a lower body fat percentage, and be physically smaller. Those are the things you can influence...

    RMR, Caliper, BIA, DEXA, Bod Pod Results: 26 F / 5'6" / 127.8 lbs / 8.9-12.3% BF

@katzby23 This is interesting, thanks for sharing. Are there any concerns or direction in your mind or from your doctor with the "risky" box checked? Looking at your pictures I would not have thought you were at a risky level of leanness, but I see in your last post that you were not...

    DEXA results: 27 F/5'3"/142 lbs/27.4% body fat

@122r Here is What I Look Like in Spandex should be the title of your autobiography. I think good hormonal health and top tier bone density are pretty good consolation prizes for missing your 100 pounds of lean mass goal. Super interesting - thanks for sharing!

I missed noobie Tuesday or w/e it's called. Could someone help me understand this?

@geldastriz I've stopped trying to understand it.

I missed noobie Tuesday or w/e it's called. Could someone help me understand this?

@geldastriz Cable machines are super weird with the weights, at least for me. I can do lat pulldowns at 200 pounds at my work gym but have a hard time budging 130 at my regular gym. But if I try to set it to my bodyweight and assess from there, it further confuses me. And if I use one of the...

    Macro targets for a 5'1" female? (x-post from r/IF_Petites)

@djokica8 If you’ve been using the adaptive TDEE spreadsheet you can keep using it. It will correct for inaccuracies in your tracking. Your TDEE could be higher, but if that’s what it’s given you that’s the kind of trial and error data you want as a starting point.

    Macro targets for a 5'1" female? (x-post from r/IF_Petites)

@djokica8 There's a comprehensive section in our FAQ here on how to determine your macro targets. This section on bulking will walk you through how to set them for a muscle gain goal.

Anyone else have problems with 'burpees'?

@youthleader424 Try hopping back in with your feet landing just on the outside of your hands instead if inside. With that wider stance you won't be as tucked and you may find you have enough room.

Back from a Bad Break: Review of Deep Water Beginner Program

@jesusiscoming01 I've noticed as I've gotten older that my joints really dislike any eating plan bordering on low fat. For that reason alone I wouldn't run anything like this while trying to lose. Or maybe that's a perk of Jon Anderson being anti-carb? Plenty of room for fats without chips...

Back from a Bad Break: Review of Deep Water Beginner Program

@jesusiscoming01 I appreciate you writing this review. I've never had an interest in this program, and people like you who put in the work and report back make me feel really solid about that decision. It sounds tough but perfect for what you needed. I'm glad you made it through. You say...
