Are weighted pull ups even worth it?

@3n1_seventhgear Guys like naturalhypertrophy advocate for starting your reps in the middle of the movement by jumping up into the chin-up. I actually like the form cue and feel my lats better.

Are weighted pull ups even worth it?

@haroldgreen Can you give me any info on how to learn about elbow strain for various lifts? I’m dealing with mild elbow tendinitis and I’m not sure what lifts or mods to make and avoid

    Progression rant

@mazince47 I am getting in RDLs but they’re on my leg day. They really destroy me even when they feel easy man even two sets of them has me sore for DAYS. No other exercise like it. Also most of my leg work on leg day is single leg so I can load heavy. I have a back deformity and I can’t do...

@zach2 The wacky thing for me is I can DB Bench 80 in each hand. So I can bench more for the same reps on a harder lift.

How does progressive overload ACTUALLY work?

@swinswin I’m 6’2 190lbs around 15%bf maybe 16-17%. I bench around 135 for 3 sets of 12. Could go a little heavier but no spotter. I’ve been lifting for a few years mostly in a cut. I also have really long arms and a shoulder injury(permanent). For context I can deadlift 405lbs. I’m just...

    4 day split? (25 y/o)

@godsmusician I would try ULUL or PPLU. Both these splits normally have a rest day in the middle, but just go for it if you can’t do the rest day. I think I would try to power into the gym after that 4th work day, so like this. Day 1- Work Day2- Work Day3- Work Day4- Work/Upper Day5-...
