So recent college grad here. While at school, I had no issues hitting the gym 4 days a week and typically did an upper lower split.
First job I had out of college completely wrecked my gym schedule because I never knew when I would be off work.
I quit that job for other reasons and have been at my new job for about a month. I work four 10 hour days and have an commute that’s an hour total.
I have Thursday, Friday, and Saturday off and have been doing a PPL split on those days. Been working great so far, but I’d really like to hit muscle groups twice a week. I have a basic barbell set at home and I’m thinking I could do a full body workout on Tuesday and then run the PPL on my days off. Is this a viable option or would I be overdoing it?
For the full body day I’m thinking I’d do Squats, Incline Bench, Pull-ups, and RDL’s. That seem like a decent routine? I have very limited time in the evening to lift so I’m trying to keep it shortish.
Apologies for the wall of text but I appreciate any and all input!
