Cutting questions

I've been cutting weight for about 2 months now, I've been following a strict diet with no cheating and counting all my calories. I've been pulling out calories slowly, initial deficit of 300 then removing 100 every couple weeks. I've noticed myself getting leaner and my body looks better but my weight tracking makes no sense. I weigh most mornings right after I wake up after I use the bathroom and before I eat. My weight looks like this and idea why? It varies multiple pounds between days and makes tracking weight loss very difficult.

@babygirl2364 Its called recomposition. Youre losing fat and gaining muscle at a similar rate.

This often occurs when you are new, undertrained or in a fluffy state where your body has excess calories to burn from fat.

This process will tap out once youre leaner or more experienced. Personally its my favorite way to gain. Sit at 20% bf and that way i dont have to bulk to see progress.

@bronsontaur Thank you for the clarification. I knew muscle mass is gained rapidly when you're new or undertrained with newbie gains, I've been training for about 2 years but I didn't know being fluffy would help with continued muscle growth during a cut.
