Hi folks,

I am just curious if my full body routine is any good or if I am missing some major exercises. I am planning on hitting the gym every other day, so 3 times a week, 45-60 mins, with a full body routine. Keeping things interesting I have 3 workout routines that I am cycling through. I'd say I have at least some experience in the gym, so no total beginner, altough I might look like one. :D

Workout A

Workout B

Workout C

Feedback is much appreciated, thanks everybody! :)

@timothyad33 This really depends on your goals, how much time you have, how serious you are etc but overall it's a solid routine. Good to see you have good compound lifts in your workouts. It's a good base for any routine.

For me it lacks specialization and volume e.g. No calves, Traps, and I would like to hit for example biceps in different ways with say a Hammer curl which also targets more of the brachialis muscle + forearms/wrists plus doing some more bicep exercises. Also destroy chest with more exercise's to hit lower, mid and upper chest etc. Just a minor critique but it's still a solid 3 day split. Really depends on your goals and how much time you have. This is a common critique for full body routines / 3 day splits.

Do you change up the exercises ? i.e. Don't feel like Romanian deadlifts? Swap for Deadlifts for the day etc. I think that's a good idea to keep it interesting.

If your getting good results and happy with it then keep doing it. If you're not then don't be afraid to look at Push Pull Legs, Upper/Lower splits or even the traditional Body part split aka Bro split but make it your own to suit your life style.

The best workout is the one you're most likely to maintain consistently.

@davidccamp Thanks a lot for your feedback. I’m happy it’s quite solid. However, I was afraid the lack of biceps/traps/chest-destruction might be a problem. I was hoping to fixing this by e.g. doing one more chest set, so 4 instead of 3. I am definitely considering different splits if I feel like there’s no progress any more. But time definitely is a factor. (Work, 2 young kids etc.). Thanks again! I am pretty confident with this split now.
