Home Workout Equipments

I’m M 23, 5’7

I recently hit 100kg and I’m on my way now to weight loss. Adjusting my diet din in which I know na mas kailangan bigyan ng pansin.

I’m looking ngayon for home workout equipments since mag 11.11. What else would u suggest?

Plan ko kasi home workout lang muna since I’m too shy to go to the gym and my body made me so anxious which resulted to lower self esteem.

May masuggest pa ba kayo what to buy?

@jessica88 Magkano budget?

Yung akin more than 3 years na.

Meron din ako barbell at plates. Sulit maghome gym basta may lugar sa bahay. May mga weight plates ako na more than 10 years na 😆 Gusto ko kasi convenient, ang hassle pag pupunta pa ng gym hehe

@jessica88 For me, kunin mo muna dumbells with removable plates or ung adjustable and a quality adjustable bench. Then if mag continue ka pa sa home gym squat rack, barbell and plates.

@jessica88 Adjustable dumbbells, yung all metal handle wag ka bibili nung may rubber grips. This will last you years.

Bench, yung naadjust na din.

Jump Rope for cardio.

Bands

@jessica88 Paralletes, dipbar, and pull up bar.

If may budget, diretso mo na nung pull up bar na may dips, abs, and push up. Yung inaassemble na malaki.

Yan lang gamit ko nun nung pandemic. Nadiscover ko na kahit anong fitness level mo, challenging talaga push up esp with mind muscle connection.

What's best about bodyweight training na iincentivise ka mag diet kasi kailangan mo gumaan para magawa yung workout. Also, sobrang cool mo tignan kung kaya mo mag pull ups at dips. Most people sa gym hirap na hirap mag dips at pull ups. Sa gym namin ako lang ata nag didips at pull ups (medyo exaggerated to prove my point).

@jessica88 For a full functional set of equipments that can give you great quality workouts and also offers different variations of exercises.

Try: Suspension trainer(trx), kettlebells, dumbbells, pull up bar, parallel dip bar, exercise bands.

@jessica88 I just bought kanina an adjustable bench & a set of dumbbells from Toby’s. Home workout din and same, I don’t feel confident hitting the gym pa aside sa reason na malayo from my place. Good luck satin, OP!

@jessica88 Step board, fitness ball, yoga mat, fitness gloves, a couple of dumbbells, pull up bar, cables, bands and a mindset to create a routine and consistency to form a discipline.

@jessica88 Yes kayang kaya. Assisted Pullups pwede, buy ka ng resistance bands together with the pull up bar attachment.

[sup]for[/sup] reference on how to set it up

@jessica88 Madaming tao nagsisimula sa zero. I started with zero pull ups. Progression lang yun until you can do a decent rep and then continue self-learning and improving your form.

@jessica88 Resistance bands. Kabibili ko lang last week and sulit siya. Much cheaper than dumbbells and you can do pretty much the same exercises with them. Nabili ko yung akin sa Devathlon for around 600.

Stationary bike. Less than 3k ata. And ok naman. Not the best pero it does the job.

Bench. Got mine last year and sobrang sulit. Nabili ko sa lazada. Again not the brdt quality pero sulit talaga. You should get one that is adjustable and may foot rest (yun ba tawag dun? I use mine for doing sit ups.

If you are gonna get dumbbells good investment yung adjustable weights specially if you plan on doing progressive overload. Medyo risky yung nasa lazada kasi minsan daw hindi pantay yung weight so be careful.

From shoes to weights. Literally lahat andun.
