How to get that first pull-up?

Do you guys have any tips/suggestions/workouts regarding achieving that first pull-up?

Bought a pull-up bar a few months back. Decided to do:
  • Dead hangs
  • Inverted rows
  • Resistance band exercises
However, I stopped working on my back for a while and now have 0 progress ):

Any suggestions for beginners like me? Thanks!
