I did my first pull up last week. I did my first ever chin ups 2 years ago but couldn't manage to do a plain old pull up. Last month I followed the Athlean X program to do your first pull up and it worked! I modified the program a little, spread it out over 5 weeks with a 2 day rest each week. I went from 0 to 3 pull ups. 65 isn't too old after all.
@karengodsgirlk2 Join the club 64F got it after working on it since Dec 2022. I’m at 2 sets 3. Going for 10. Full range of motion, none that bouncing stuff. Lol.
@investigate I started with a wide band, went to a narrow band, and then no band. Added in alot of hangs (30 s x 3), eccentrics (negative pull ups aka 'let downs') and pushups til the cows come home
