Need help with my workout routine

I currently do upper, lower body split (Monday(U), Tuesday(L), Thursday(U), and Friday(L)).

My workouts are the same on Monday and Thursday and also the same leg workouts on Tuesday and Friday.

I heard that doing certain upper body muscles on Monday and other upper body muscles on Thursday (For example, Biceps, Back, and Chest on Monday and Triceps, Shoulders, and Traps on Thursday) is better than doing the whole upper body twice a week.

Is that better or should I just continue what I'm doing now?

I don't think my current routine is that efficient because I'm just repeating the same routine twice a week.

Any tips will be appreciated.
