Pano nyo naiintegrate ang training/fitness nyo into your busy scheds?

Hello good day, first time poster here. If my post is a duplicate sorry and please delete na lang.

Anyway I wanted to ask how some of you guys managed to incorporate yung consistent training nyo sa busy sched nyo? In my case, after graduation ko I had all the free time in the world. So I planned to have a workout routine as a beginner. I had a simple workout routine lang:
  1. Daily jogging (my goal was to jog 1hr 30 mins a day or at least 10k steps; tinrack ko using Google Fitness app)
  2. Strength training (before ako magjog for the day, puro dumbbell na tig 10kg arm workouts lang sa bahay; Before halos everyday ko to ginagawa but then naging M-W-F)
  3. Core (abs workout)
All that was just a year ago. May sinundan lang akong mga workout routines sa YouTube, IG reels I saved, and some workout guides na sinave ko sa gallery ng phone ko. Thankfully, I managed to go from 76kg down to 65kg and there are noticeable changes sa body ko.

But these days nagiging inconsistent na ako because of busy sched tulad ng household chores, work, and other personal stuff. Minsan nawawalan ako gana magsimula because I am already tired gawa ng responsibilities ko. Bale I do what I can na lang these days and nafefeel ko that would impede my progress lang so I wanted to ask how some of you managed to consistently workout as a busy person.

Here is a more detailed workout routine ko these days pala if you guys want to know, also feedback would be appreciated:
  • I usually start around 4pm to 5pm
- Dumbbell workout (1hr 30m)rest- Abs (3 sets)rest- Back and chest (3 sets)rest

Friday

@lit Nahirapan din ako nung umpisa, pero ngayon part na talaga ng routine ko. Sanayan lang talaga until you get into the rhythm of it. I work out around 5x a week these days. This is what my week usually looks like:
  • Monday - Dance class
  • Tues - Back and biceps
  • Wednesday- Rest day
  • Thursday - Chest, shoulders, triceps.
  • Friday - Rest day
  • Saturday - Legs
  • Sunday - Upper body
I start my day around 5:30 am, I work from 8am-5pm. On weekdays, I go to the gym after work. On weekends, I go around 6am. Work-gym-bahay lang talaga ako on weekdays.
 
@lit When that happens, I just take a break. I skip workouts when needed. It helps if you think about it as a long term thing. Wala ka naman deadline, wala kang hinahabol. Rest if you need to then come back recharged and ready to go again.
 
@lit Dati gabi ako napunta ng gym, pero ngayon umaga na. Mas madaling mag-isip ng dahilan para mag skip kung pagod ka na sa hapon/gabi.
 
@lit Sa akin. Monday lang restday ko. I work from Tues to Sunday(9am-5pm). Nagpupunta ako sa gym MWF after work. Whole body lagi, mostly compound workouts(squat, bench press and pullup/lat pull down) tapos treadmill ng 10-15mins na din. Mas ok din sa gym para makapagsuggest sila ng workout plan mo depende sa schedule/availability at goal mo.
 
@lit Magandang goal yung 10k steps a day or magjogging lagi. Pero di kasi yan akma sa lifestyle ng lahat.

Kung may mga responsibilidad ka, di mo talaga iyan magagawa araw-araw. Mahirap magsiksik ng 90-minute workout sa schedule nating mga working peeps, so advice ko is iklian mo yung workouts mo. Kahit 30 minutes lang 3x a week, masactive na iyon kaysa sa 95% ng working peeps!

The best workout schedule is one that you can stick to!
 
@lit After work, I used to commute via bus pauwi kaso nakakapagod. Switched to Moveit so nalessen yung commute and pagod. (From ~1 hr byahe to 30 mins max)

*Edit: Around 3:30 pm ako nakakauwi, so workouts usually start around 4pm until 6pm.

Pagkauwi, change clothes, kunin yung gym bag tas refill ng water bottle sabay baba sa gym (nasa building na namin yung gym). Dapat nakaprep na yung gamit para di ka tatamarin. Nakahanda na din yung gym clothes, may section sila sa closet ko para grab and go nalang.

I stay there for about 2 hrs, naloka na nga yung roommate ko kasi ang tagal daw. But I do it to destress from work + I really enjoy it!

As for my workouts, I do yung dumbbell workout sa boostcamp (app) kasi di naman complete yung machine dito. Treadmill muna to get my steps. Currently, 8k yung daily goal. After mareach yun, I do a bit of warm up exercises, start my weights sesh na, then cooldown.

On days na purely tinatamad ako or not feeling well (rereglahin na so super bloated etc), I still go to the gym tas I tell myself to just get my steps in. I'll take it as an active rest day. Pag ganun, I try to reach 10k. Pure walk lang sa treadmill, by intervals.

Magiging habit mo na din sya tas you'll actually start craving going to the gym/doing workouts. Hope that helps!!!
