What are your go to meals when cutting?

Ive decided to begin with a cut despite my long term goals being increased muscle mass. I'm 5' 8" ~140lbs but body fat is likely (~15%).

My macros are 112g P -- 168g C -- 40g F for a total of 1485cals.

Im wondering what are your go to foods to keep Protein high and Carbs/Fat pretty low :)
 
@kazoolo That seems like quite a bit of protein for the calories, no? You could experiment with marinating tofu pieces or ‘steaks’ and grilling them, eaten with quinoa and/or beans and lots of veggies. Tofu is high protein low cal so definitely getting more acquainted with
 
@kazoolo I eat similar macros. A few staple meals

Smushed up silken tofu + flavored protein for a yogurt parfait-esqe base. Top with puffed rice and fruit.

Steamed veggies + soy curl/gardien/tvp protein and a simple sauce for stirfry.

Big loaded veggie salad. Dark leafy green base, tons of slow roasted veggies, and chickpeas. Recently been doing spinach, roasted butternut squash, chickpeas, seitan Turkey, and a cranberry sauce balsamic dressing for the equivalent of a Thanksgiving sandwich with good macros.
 
@kazoolo A few Random foods,that i use

- Greek Yogurt

- Dry Almonds (I soak them in water over night,Easy to eat and Tasty too)

- Eggs

- Boiled Edamame seeds

- Stir fired or very lightly oven roasted Broccoli
