I do a lot of weights and circuits when I work out, and I'm always looking for good music that I won't be hitting 'next' on when it comes up on my ipod. I'd say right now my top ten are
@simonjames86 I just usually listen to my top rated music, and when I get sick of that I listen to just some of my favourite bands, like all american rejects or jimmy eat world.
@simonjames86 Queen, Queen, and more Queen. Something about jogging to Fat-Bottomed Girls makes me lol, and when is it more appropriate to listen to Bicycle Race than while riding a bike?
ETA: My typical all-Queen-all-the-time playlist looks like this:
Don't Stop Me Now
Fat-Bottomed Girls
Good Old-Fashioned Lover Boy
Bicycle Race
Killer Queen
Under Pressure
You're My Best Friend
I Want It All
Somebody to Love
Working out is more fun when you're also rocking out, and it's just impossible for me to be angry or sad while listening to Queen.
@simonjames86 I have stuff by The Faint, Metric, Mana, Cobra Starship, The Sounds, LMFAO, and Flo Rida on mine. Tons more that I can't think of at the moment, but I like having a long playlist so I don't get too tired of stuff.
@simonjames86 I listen to a combination of EDM and alt rock (think passion pit, vampire weekend, etc.) but the one song that is on every workout playlist for me is Nine Inch Nails "Only"...so motivating.
