    Is A-B required for PPL?

@revbillw I know that feel, after some years it dissipates. Enjoy the gym, when it gets stale you can always tune it down.

    Is A-B required for PPL?

@revbillw No one needs 6x per week training, especially not beginners. Do it if you love the gym but if you prefer gains go down to 3-4 days.

New "RIR 1-2 vs RIR 0" Study - Similar gains

@minhphat Not that I know off. People usually gauge rir mid set and if a study doesn't mimic that I can't take the results seriously.

New "RIR 1-2 vs RIR 0" Study - Similar gains

@minhphat True people are really bad at gauging rir, but lifters are a lot more accurate.

New "RIR 1-2 vs RIR 0" Study - Similar gains

@minhphat Chet yorton only trained til the reps started to slow down. I think one should lift for fun primarily, and many people would prefer non failure even if it meant spending 4x as much time in the Gym.

Long term high protein diets bad for your Kidneys? Past 5 years of research.

@buna eGFR measured with creatinine has a huge blind spot - unless it's down by 50% your lab result is normal. So they always freak out if it's out of bounds. And the e stands for estimated, they don't measure directly. You would need to compare serum and urine levels, they are just assumed...

What do you think about this guy's pull up and row technique?

@baker5 Sorry I thought the context of this conversation was pull ups and answered with that in mind.

    Bodybuilding Peaking Strategy

@amysz1217 He is very conservative with his intake, 5g sodium, 3-4l water that's probably more than most people do regularly.

What do you think about this guy's pull up and row technique?

@jeanetteh DB Row: He does bodyweight lat prayers instead of a pull up. At first I thought he does sternum pull ups (great ex) with partial ROM, but from the side it's clear, he mimics the straight arm push down movement. I would recommend using a cable with a weight stack instead of your...

    Bodybuilding Peaking Strategy

@prcg345 The workout should increase muscle insulin sensitivity and the pumping should promote bloodflow to the muscles. There is something to it but it's probably miniscule since your muscles are already longing for carbs and posing should have the same benefits. Get a covid mask for the spray...

    Bodybuilding Peaking Strategy

@prcg345 Be ready 3 weeks out. Try your carb loading strategy to know which day you look best (NOTE: you can look great for several days, it's better to aim the show towards the middle than at the very start, so instead of the first good day take the 2nd or 3rd). The 3 maintenance weeks...

Help me figure out the best Shoulder routine for cannonball delts as as coping mechanism

@wjr Jay cutler has the best Side lateral raise form: DB upright rows with correct swinging technique. Wide grip BB upright rows are great too. The Yates row blasts rear delts like crazy. For normal lateral raises I prefer cuffs with a ball in hand or pressing the thumb against the...
