    Thinking about a Double Kettlebell Deadlift Basket

    @y0ung1996 You can pass your hand through the window of one and let it rest on your wrist while gripping the other. You can also grip two handles together, which is my favorite method since it puts a crazy load on your grip too. But if you want to make something awesome, pick up some pipe and go...

    Anti-Glycolytic Training

    @cysterinchrist For most of his clients he said it’s either brisk walking or light rucking. He also talks about running reverse linear periodization to build to that volume, like starting with shorter sessions of heavy carries and slowly reducing load and increasing duration.

    Anti-Glycolytic Training

    @cysterinchrist Josh Bryant has talked about a 2 hr/week threshold of LISS for strength athletes. Going over that could lead to decreases in performance, but up to that level should be perfectly fine. Building to that level should also be done slowly. It might be easy to start with 15’ 4x/week...

    Does Anyone Know The Program??

    @beeschmidt He is a high level CrossFit athlete. I believe he owns or is head coach of his gym (CrossFit Strong House) so he likely does his own programming with his team. He has a bit more kettlebell work than you might see with other crossfitters, but if you scroll through his instagram you’ll...

    This one is for the lurkers - what are you working on and what do you need help with right now?

    @ngie I’ll give it a shot, thanks. And you should do a light pentathlon just to play with it! It’s surprisingly fun.

    This one is for the lurkers - what are you working on and what do you need help with right now?

    @ngie • What are you working on right now? Pentathlons…lots of pentathlons. • What’s going well? Volume is increasing every week and feels great! • What challenges are you running into? Issues with external rotation of my shoulders. I’ve tried damn near everything over the past few...

    Made up a program, followed for 8 weeks - Calisthenics and a 24 kg kettlebell. Here's how it went

    @hannahmarie313 You can definitely improve press with c&p, but if you can already press greater than 10 reps then sets of 5 or less aren’t particularly stimulating.

    What’s a strong press?

    @josephhayes One arm

    Made up a program, followed for 8 weeks - Calisthenics and a 24 kg kettlebell. Here's how it went

    @hannahmarie313 I would probably be happy with the snatch and pullup improvement, I would not be happy with the OHP improvement (especially with the ~5kg weight gain).

    What’s a strong press?

    @professor Strength doesn’t scale linearly with bodyweight, but I think a general rule of thumb is 1/2 bodyweight press is pretty strong.

    KB FS vs. C&P Weights

    @josephhayes Most of them were from jiu jitsu, so definitely tomfoolery.

    KB FS vs. C&P Weights

    @gina7arth I was able to solve this problem by completely shitwrecking my knee multiple times. Now my squats are just as weak as my press 😎

    @doulos74 Thanks brother!

    Increasing to 10RM

    @dboruff11 Correct, no rest days. The sub maximal work days still allow for recovery between max effort days. I can also add in one rest day to the microcycle, but I usually use that as a modification when cumulative fatigue begins to build after a few weeks.

    Pressing Standards Parallels?

    @doulos74 I’m built like a very average person. A lot of strength can be built without hypertrophy. Aleksandr Khvostov can snatch the 48kg 50 times, and he’s a little guy!
