    New to crossfit - and it's kicking my ass!

    @smarch You wont see a ton of progress quickly by only going twice a week. (I hate the no time excuse and rarely ever have seen someone's schedule where they actually don't have time. I'm busy as all hell and I still make it to 5am class all the time.)

    Apparently I suck at zone 2

    @aachen_hexagon I find Zone 2 running difficult, moreso because my pace feels awkwardly slow and therefore my running technique feels awful. I find I'm better off biking or swimming if I want to do something in Zone 2. That's just me tho

    Can we talk weight gain?

    @pdbcm Do you have a goal weight or just a goal of looking a certain way? Are you happier now with the way you look, or less happy? Personally, I don't have a goal weight. I want to look and feel a certain way (for me that means more muscle!!). The scale doesn't rule my world at all.

    @kimberdavis90 Scale the weights and reps and movements appropriately so you're not wrecked. Eat more, especially right after workouts, so you're not wrecked. Because you're not wrecked, go to classes more. 👌

    Giving up and giving in…

    @itsmedude Hard things are put in our path not to stop us, but to call on our courage and strength. You can do the hard things. It's okay if you're nervous, scared, uncomfortable - show up anyway. Each day you'll get 1% more confident.
