Frustrated about body size and TDEE

@johnjs37 Not only smaller portions but trying to get the recommended vitamins, fiber and minerals every day! I can only eat a heavy carb meal once or twice a week on 1200 cal if I want to meet my nutrition needs

    Has anyone tried reverse dieting?

@vireak I am 2 cm taller than you and started at your weight (64kg) I was able to lose 20kg in one year. I’m trying to gain more to at least 50kg with muscle but my stomach is a lot smaller and I’m full by lunch time First find your maintenance calories. Measure everything using a scale and...

    B Belly Struggles

@jva I can’t say it’s 100% not water weight. I am not a scientist. Most of what I try is observation and experiments throughout the month. All I know is that when I eat store bought bread I feel sluggish and my stomach bloats. Water weight also causes bloating but the degree isn’t as...

    B Belly Struggles

@jva It didn’t help me at all. I thought I had an intolerance to wheat at some point but when I make my own breads, there is no change. Obviously I know of water retention and tested my body during different situations. I wish it were just water weight…

    B Belly Struggles

@hoseaman I’ve dieted a few times and the best way to lose weight (for myself) was to stop eating store bought wheat products. Something inside of them makes my body rebel. I’m 42 to 47kg depending on the day. If I eat bread from a store or restaurant, I gain 4kg over night! Drink lots of...

    Observations from my body recomposition

@music1 Right. Friends and family are the first to notice your weight change. They are not looking in the mirror everyday. Water weight might be due to muscles getting used to working out. Is it the lactic acid? Honest I forget what it is called

    Calorie deficit for 5’0?

@olleg12 I don’t understand how you are able to eat this much in one day. I would die from eating this amount of food! If you cannot complete it, do you break it into portions or eat some as a snack?

Question for the 4’10 girlies! at what weight did you start seeing your abs showing through?

@gorightgirl I have always seen a line across my abs but I’ve never seen definition. I range from 46-52kg depending on my salt, carb (mmmm bread), and sugar intake. I’m not too stressed on ab definition but I’ve heard it can sometimes be genetic to see it?

    Recomp instead of losing weight?

@iamjamieq You’re doing great! Our body comps are pretty similar to when I first started. What really helped me was to purposely eat more vegetables and do endurance based exercises (running, long bike rides, swimming) I wouldn’t worry too much on the calorie side of things as long as you eat...
