    Pilates-tok?

@wintermint I also think we have to listen to our bodies. I cannot lift more than 2-3x a week without getting pain and exhaustion, but I can only do Zumba once or twice a week anymore and I feel like crap. Everyone is different

    Pilates-tok?

@maryephil I mean look at Pilates tok butts and Pilates instructor butts. Most have pancake butts, nothing compared to girls who are hip thrusting 200 lbs

    Pilates-tok?

@wintermint With lifting I was starting to get chronic back pain but once I strengthened my abs at the advice of a trainer it disappeared. I have noticed it’s easier to injure myself lifting than with Pilates, Pilates is like yoga where I never V feel myself getting injured or noticeable...

    Pilates-tok?

@seekinganswersinlife I’ve done Pilates for four years. It really helps me with my core like nothing else I’ve ever tried. However I find Zumba better for weight loss and Pilates will not give you a great ass the way that lifting does

Can I achieve a better aesthetic with body weight exercises only?

@tianguis Have you tried changing your diet stuff like cutting out dairy? I'm not a doctor but it seems like it's mostly bloat (concentration of weight gain in mostly just the abdomen).

My roommates keep calling me gym obsessed.

@kmar123 may6e you can try to make friends who love the gym too and hang out with in front of your other friends, that6 way they can see it as a fun lifestyle and not an addiction

@ryanmrozek I think you look equally amazing both ways ❤ I think we should do what's best for our health even though for me too at the back of my my mind I worry about having an hourglass figure, it's worth it to start feeling better physically and mentally!

How do I stop feeling bad as black girl about no longer being ‘thicc’, partying, drinking, etc?

@oikonomia I feel like it's totally normal go become more health conscious when you start working out! Now that I've started going to the gym regularly I'm becoming so much more strict about what I put on my body and who I hang out with. I want to take care of myself inside and out!
