if you had 4-5 hours a week to spend in the gym over 4 sessions, what would you do?

@mvelis15 I've started doing 45-minute bootcamp/hiit classes for this reason. It might not get the results of some other approaches but at this time in my life there is just no way I can do 8 hours a week or whatever. At least for the moment it will help me work towards some strength and...

Working out with babies requires sacrifice from the entire family

@jordanjames88 Gyms don't do childcare where I live but surely if you work you don't take kids at 6am or until 7pm after work? Or is it more for stay at home parents?

Early morning gym goers, with family, how do you balance going to bed early with time for your partner?

@bobwhite Ah, you said your wife goes during the day, I suppose it depends on your job.

Early morning gym goers, with family, how do you balance going to bed early with time for your partner?

@bobwhite But if both work that's not really practical.

Rant about people trying to look skinny or have a x inch waist

@nolab123 But our bodies change and we can't always go back to our old shape, or at least not easily. And the issue with other bodies is that we are all different. It just might not be possible or healthy to get someone else's body.

Early morning gym goers, with family, how do you balance going to bed early with time for your partner?

@shawna27 Yes, I think parents need to accept they just can't do it all, whatever you may have been led to believe. The important thing is an arrangement that both are ok with.

Why Asians are overweight/obese at lower BMIs

@seraph159 While I agree with you I don't think it's up to internet users who don't know her to tell her what is and isn't healthy and that doctors are wrong.

Working out with babies requires sacrifice from the entire family

@kostas My child often wakes up just by me getting up to go to the bathroom. I can't think of any way I could exercise quietly enough. Our house just isn't set up so it's possible, the sound travels too much.

Working out with babies requires sacrifice from the entire family

@kostas Not for me, it would wake my kid for sure.

Working out with babies requires sacrifice from the entire family

@megan89 I have a seven year old and neither of us gets extensive time for several hobbies still. That's just being a parent if you're doing your share. Then they have their own interests and activities and don't always want to share yours.

Therapist wants me to accept myself at a bigger size

@paulclays I'm that size and as a short woman I absolutely need to lose weight. I'm in obese BMI category and have joint issues and potential liver and blood sugar problems.

Getting super fatigued after personal training?

@svonaly Yes, the schedule thing happens to me because of my kid and our work and childcare issues. It would definitely be less tiring if I could get into a schedule like I used to but it doesn't sound like OP has that problem.

Working out with babies requires sacrifice from the entire family

@venutianpunk I've only managed it because my kid of the same age now does her own sports three times a week and I can go then, because my partner works shifts and I work during the day.

I told a guy no on working in

@txlenna Well I guess I'm particularly salty about it today because I went yesterday and the back to school rush meant there were basically no alternatives at all. The cable machine is always hogged by a group of teenage boys for ages anyway, and every single machine was in use, the free weight...

I told a guy no on working in

@txlenna My gym doesn't really have alternatives though, it's pretty small, so if it's a busy time and several people take ten minutes each on machines I end up missing a ton of exercises in my limited workout time (I have to go pick up my kid).

I’m tired of juggling everything and I’m completely burnt out

@meteorstorm For me it works to start exercising first. It helps me want to eat healthier.

I told a guy no on working in

@bevinluvwithjesus At my gym there is. Well it has two sides and a row bench thing. If he'd just seen someone start at the other side or they were actively using it maybe he preferred to ask OP who'd been on a while and was resting.

I told a guy no on working in

@bevinluvwithjesus At my gym there's only one of each so if I can't use one there isn't another I can go to. I'm assuming that's the case.

I’m tired of juggling everything and I’m completely burnt out

@fasthello I get exhausted just reading about some people's regimes of tdee, macros, steps, weights, etc.

Urgently need an exercise that is not push up or abs, leg required

@michelrives Yes, I find it really hard to not listen or read things around the house and always think about listening to podcasts as I walk but actually I find the break from information really refreshing. Especially early in the morning when it's quiet.
