I can't afford enough protein to grow muscle

@mcl123 I buy tuna, eggs, rice, pinto beans, potatoes, beanut butter and real crumbled beacon. Butter is optional. Yeah, but, protein powder too. A 20oz bag of crumbled beacon is the equivalent of 5lb of beacon it's half the cost of protein powder and half the protein of an entire tub of...

    Workout question!

@mikelester I should address that last part. I don't think you have any worries of getting bulky unless it's because of your diet. Like lets say you had a goal to put on 20lbs of muscle, you would still need even more than that on a consistent basis to just be able to fuel that much muscle as...

Is there anything wrong with going on a hike (like 4-8 miles; approx. 1-2 hours) on the day after leg day?

@abugah I just wanted to answer your question. But, in honesty it's likely beneficial to gains to keep working out even if you're sore or not sore with already an alright workout. I read was something one time about it's after 4 days you notice a decrease in strength from not working out, I...

Is there anything wrong with going on a hike (like 4-8 miles; approx. 1-2 hours) on the day after leg day?

@abugah There's nothing wrong with that. Actually that's not even very far. I'm sure someone out there is doing leg day, and tomorrow because he's trying to workout yet doesn't have a car, he's still about to walk to wallmart 1hr away and 1hr back.

What are some lifts you didn't use to rate, but have grown to love?

@thebelovedofgod I basically can't decide. A lot of that has to do with me being 122lbs even back when I was working out all the time. Like I hated lat pull downs, why, because as a 122lb dude, every time I sit down on the seat to do them, if I am not 100% locked down, I just pull myself up off...

A guy yelled at me at the gym

@mark1 This just happened to be the next thing I started reading below the comment I was replying to. It doesn't make me feel good about butting in on this. But, I don't think this guy gets it. I have been in a room with a girl before making eyes at me before and trying to pick me up, there's a...

A guy yelled at me at the gym

@mark1 Well, I wouldn't yell at you... my rhomatoid shutthafuckupritus would keep me having to bottle up my emotions to have to keep them to myself, so I can just do the one thing I was meant to be doing, that way I feel right enough to stop torturing my body with exercises and be able to go on...

Is it ok I I don’t do lat pulldown

@daka If you're asking if it's going to be problematic, not particularly. Initially, my response would have been it's not like you have to start working out with pullups or back exercises in your workout. For the first several years, you could get away with not doing back particular exercises...

    Progress

@mypreciousgift010210 Welp, it's been since forever that I've heard about progress of grinding that hard working out for someone's goals. There's an odd story I tell people of getting to be in 9th grade, something great happened like that to me back then. I was switching schools when I went into...

    I’m tryna look more cut

@peteristherock Something else I almost forgot to say. It's better to work out your entire body at once than each muscle individually. It's one thing to try not to be overtraining, but you're still able to build more muscle with workouts for your entire body, it amplifies the effectiveness of...

    I’m tryna look more cut

@peteristherock You should check out my profile. As I am the same weight as you. You'll probably be able to develop better than I did with the same as much exercise as I've had, but it's still some insight on what to look forward to what you can accomplish even at 122lbs. That other person...

Strength Workout with Power Cleans & 20:00 Body Weight Fat Loss Conditioning

@heisking Wow, and wow, you can do power cleans really well, and yeah given 9 sets, I think that is an optimal choice of for however many rounds you do. There's those strict pullups you were doing, you should almost just call those reverse burpees. All that was just my observations of that, and...

    Rate my next bulking program

@aloys989 I think if you've put this much thought into your workout routine, that you'll do just fine. Personally, I would be adding 5 sets or exercises just my core to whatever workout I'm doing for a day. It's like I do 2 separate workouts whenever I work out, one the real workout and the...
