    My 10 Month Calisthenics journey!

@alphabet_gr Elbows are quite fragile you have to be careful. I only have two workouts a week which involves elbows a lot (chest+triceps workouts) but I never had issues with it tho. Only time I had pain was when I did 1000 push-ups in 1 workout for a YouTube video but other than that never had...

@dawn16 Thanks it took a lot of work to actually get those muscle-ups! I really want to get 5 reps in a row tho!

    My 10 Month Calisthenics journey!

@rubynuqui Yup, that's because I don't do chin-ups that often + it was quite a bad day for setting PR so I would say on a good day I would do 18-19 but while I haven't done it don't want to claim it. I will crush that PB so I have nice a number like 20 soon! :D

    My 10 Month Calisthenics journey!

@lollykh It's required for me to be in shape. And the training is quite demanding. Also once a year I have tests where I have to show good results.

    My 10 Month Calisthenics journey!

@econ4every1 Well each muscle group rests for 48-72h! But in sense of cardio it doesn't interfere much with my workouts because I don't do it too much. Usually a 20km bike ride or 5km run which for me is not that much. Since I have run a marathon in my life and my longest bike ride has been...

    My 10 Month Calisthenics journey!

@econ4every1 Weightlifting is only used because it's best way to train legs. I am not a big fan of pistol squats and other exercises are not challenging enough to put you in 3-8 rep range what I mostly prefer! Yes I do cardio after my calisthenics workout so let's say I do back+biceps and after...

    My 10 Month Calisthenics journey!

@lyossarian If you mean cheat days that I don't have many of them. Maybe 1-3 a month. I'm pretty strict with my diet because if I am not then I will look like I did in before picture again. Because I was working out a lot even in the before picture (weights and gym) but as you can see I need to...

    My 10 Month Calisthenics journey!

@reekypear Over time you can estimate everything with your eyes and do approximate numbers in your head. Let's say you eat a meal and then you think okay this is roughly 800-1100kcal and you have to work by that! It's the same with how much kcal you need! Nobody knows that you need exact 2300...

    My 10 Month Calisthenics journey!

@jppeace I just weigh myself every morning after bathroom when I still haven't drank or eat anything that way it's always the same circumstance! Then for example I've was eating 2500kcal and looking what happens to my weight after a week if it's increasing then I am dropping my kcal if it's...

    My 10 Month Calisthenics journey!

@gerat_tzedek Mostly the routine I said because It works for me! My muscles are in constant challenge and pain thorough the week! I did each muscle group once a week when I started but now that I am used to working out I can do each muscle group twice a week! I know a lot of people who do also...

    My 10 Month Calisthenics journey!

@df80 For beginners I would suggest hitting muscle group only once a week. So it would go like this: Monday: Chest+Triceps Tuesday: Recovery Wednesday: Legs+Shoulders Thursday: Recovery/or small cardio session with low intensity [walk, small run etc] Friday: Back+Biceps Saturday: Recovery...

    My 10 Month Calisthenics journey!

@stageandgrace All muscle groups take pretty much the same time (1 hour 20 minutes - 2 hour 30 minutes at most) I usually do warm-up sets and warm-up exercises before doing the working sets which usually are 3-5 and rep range depends on goal of the workout it could be 3-8 which I prefer the...

    My 10 Month Calisthenics journey!

@dawn16 It was a specific split! Let's say we start the week it's Monday I would do Back+Biceps on Monday Tuesday I would do legs+shoulders Wednesday is chest+triceps and then on Thursday I would hit back+biceps again so basically I've had 48-72h of rest between the muscle groups which is...
