    @roflololol Yeah, i've met more pencil legged guys at a weights gym then i've seen on a bike. Speed skaters just have the biggest thighs of anyone i've ever seen. Massive.

    @theadmiral I don't think anyone is going to argue against lifting heavy weights. But I argue your 1st point. The muscle mass is both to help them skate and because they skate. Where are the pencil legged speed skaters?

    @fish3rofm3n You want big legs? You want BIG legs? Insanely large legs? Take up speed skating. Look up the lower halves and of those guys and compare them to anyone else.

    @christian5487 I think we are on the same page. I just teach kids and teenagers and the amount of them that will copy something they see a pro doing with no understanding of WHY has made me super uncomfortable with letting people get away with bad technique.

    @christian5487 If you read my post I said " If it's not a full ROM and it's not a deliberate half movement then it's fair to say it's sloppy." If they were deliberate half movements to work the bicep, thats fine. But if someone was watching and thinking they could get away with copying him...

    @christian5487 Poor form is poor form, I wouldn't let someone get away with it if they were a beginner. So why give a pass to someone who is very advanced? If it's not a full ROM and it's not a deliberate half movement then it's fair to say it's sloppy.

    @wishwish55 I did a full body building style bulk this year, super interesting way to approach muscle gains and very effective.

    @wishwish55 As a beginner you will make good gains regardless (assuming diet, stimulus and etc is dialed in) you would probably make better gains with more sleep. But you should still see improvements.

    @cici1234 Eating less will help you lose fat but if you don't have any muscles or many muscles you'll just end up looking very skinny. Like 90 era super models. So you should do some training to maintain some muscles. But if you want to build muscles that's easier to do in a calorie rich...
