1H jerk numbers vs 2H jerk numbers

@togetherinchrist Can't answer this but I can tell you doubles is a completely different experience because your body is under double the load the whole time - and after long stretches this impacts the lift as much or more than your arms getting fatigued if that makes sense. If you want to do...

A recap of my transition from running and cycling to kettlebell training

@equinelover Nice work man! I'm a newly former runner here (not so much by choice but because I want to walk around without pain in my ankles). I'm still addicted to cardio and instead hit the erg 2-3 days a week but have used kb for years. I never really eat to gain so this is cool to see...

Kettlebell noob here, would appreciate some tailored advice for what to buy to supplement my research. :)

@gregory_r_g It can be a lot to press depending on your strength level, but it's not a lot to swing. For me I usually will use heavier if I am training single bell pressing because I can do the 24 for 10-12 reps and I want something in the 5-8 range. Doulbes is a different story. 2x24 is good...

@gregory_r_g Competition handles are great for snatches. Changing weights mid workout is annoying - I own the adjustables and usually if using them will focus on a single weight for a workout. I'm also 5'8" 145 and yea starting with a 16 and 24 is fine. 2x16 isn't bad advice either but it...

How to tell if I’m normal/strong/weak for my size

@neptune21 Your training seems very specific to you and thus might not yield good points of comparison. There are some random "standards" floating around out there that some find helpful (i.e. 1/2 bodyweight press is one) - but the other commenters have it right. Be 'bout the journey - not the...
