A recap of my transition from running and cycling to kettlebell training

@andy0 Usually ran on one variety day and did the recommended Thursday session from the book on the other. I added pull-ups on some of my press days during TTC, but that was it for strength training outside of the programs.

@chigun No problem! I'd say figure out what your goal is and then find a program that aligns with it. For example, one of the goals for RoP is a half BW press, which gave me a specific outcome to work toward.

@chigun Are you doing C&P ladders as part of RoP? I'm someone who needs a structured program. I find it hard to track and measure progress without one.

A recap of my transition from running and cycling to kettlebell training

@elaine202 I don't really do any hard running these days, but my easy pace has held pretty firm despite the drastic drop in mileage. I'd say I run with better form these days (more core engagement) and feel stronger on uphills (I think this is directly attributed to swings).

@docshay I haven’t tried to push my pace in a while, but my easy pace has barely changed. Still around where it was when I was logging far more miles.

@dawn16 Thanks! Ha, yeah, the beard gains have been less consistent. Usually don’t let it go much longer than that 2019 pic.
