[FLUFF] ‘Wonder Woman’ recruited actual athletes, fighters as powerful Amazonians

@lake356 She seemed to do more HIIT than lifting. So she got toned..but really didn't build much.

@shh I guess average woman are more tolerable because they moreso look fat. My cousin made me feel her stomach when it got hard. WHY IS IT HARD. But its cool. I'm not having kids.

@shh I guess just fit pregnant women in general. Irrational phobia really. The way the stomach protrudes and ab muscles around it.....looks like an alien fetus. Also when innies become outies. It's stupid. I know.

[FLUFF] ‘Wonder Woman’ recruited actual athletes, fighters as powerful Amazonians

@lake356 Yea I'm not a serious lifter. I don't compete at all. I'm still stronger than her. C'mon people. Oh and the pregnancy thing? It creeps me out, but you can find YouTube video of pregnant woman lifting more than average non pregnant women.

@lake356 Yea I tried everywhere to find her lifting stats. All I found was a picture of her doing 10lb incline dumbbell curls........sad.

What was your “DAMN I’M GETTING STRONG” moment?

@brojaque My privilege is starting to get the best of me. I can yank my suitcase and put it down 1 handed. I see all these middle aged people struggling and spending half a lifetime trying to get luggage in/out and I just want to scream

Let's have a conversation about squatting, and ignorance

@tomodachi This was huge for me. I always hated the set up and it really messed up my form. Now that I set up like this it just seems way easier

Let's have a conversation about squatting, and ignorance

@davjjorton I've heard the same. And I totally believe it. Single dumbbell suitcase lunges are one of my favorites. And now I feel like I need to isolate and do single dumbbell BSS!

Ok I finally got onboard with stretching..but now I need specific help!

@velvety777 Oh WOW. I'm definitely keeping this app! I like the idea of testing my mobility so I can know what I should work on. Also being able to customize is awesome after specific gym days. I can just spotify some chill jams and be good to go! Thanks for such an awesome recommendation!

Let's have a conversation about squatting, and ignorance

@tim10001 Yes! Gainz are gainz. And I've recently added plantar fasciitis and heel spurs to my list. So being able to do lighter weights and still progress is perfection

Let's have a conversation about squatting, and ignorance

@tomodachi I have arthritis in my knees. I also have bad knee valgus. Solution? Bulgarian split squats. And lunges. I was hesitant at first. But now I'm killing it on leg day. Yea, I don't do heavy squats and look cool..but my legs are stronger than ever. It's done wonders for arthritis pains.

Ok I finally got onboard with stretching..but now I need specific help!

@colindominic I'm definitely going to keep doing it. I guess I was looking for other options to make sure I'm hitting all the right spots? If that makes sense. If I can improve with other stretches I want them too!

My fitness goal: be able carry my 130 lbs partner from the couch to the bed without waking her up. How to achieve?

@dawn16 Similar. I'm a veterinary nurse so I regularly lift large dogs. Biceps and lats are going to be big. You definitely want your traps/lats to be on point because you'll be engaging them to stay stable. Obviously biceps will be flexed through this as well. But squats are definitely going...

German gymnastics team, tired of 'sexualisation,' wears unitards at Tokyo Olympics

@acer621 This actually kind of sucks to me I don't need to sexualize anything and everything. When I see athletes (male or female) competing, I prefer more "revealing" outfits. For me, part of the enjoyment of watching is seeing the muscles of their bodies. Like, these men and women have...

No A/C at gym- I feel crazy

@ericanicolee No, no, no and NO. I live in the southern US. Heat index of like, 100 now. I sweat a lot, but we have AC. And ceiling fans Earlier this summer something was wrong with the AC there. I don't know what, but I was fucking DYING. I had to leave early. And I didn't go for several days...

[Race Report] Cowtown Half: I bled through my pants so you don’t have to

@wanderedhome What? Menstrual cups should have less flex. It forms a seal. Sounds like you had no seal. This helps break down cup firmness. I'd suggest you try your menstrual cup normally (not running) and make sure you're getting a good seal!

Ok I finally got onboard with stretching..but now I need specific help!

Ok so at the age of 34 I finally have acknowledged that stretching is necessary! I always neglected it and thought I never had enough time, didn't know what to do, etc. I found this video and it's been a game changer. 15 minutes? Nice. Easy moves. Super chill music. I absolutely love this video...
