    Feeling after workout

@tutrinhatpro Weights too light for strength training. Fore reference, this is like someone saying they want to do speedwork for a run by doing zone 2 training. You need to go heavier to see the benefits you're looking for.

    Shiny Things

@drschools This is perfectly fine - just revisit workouts from the programs every now and then and slightly progress them. Instead of starting S&S from scratch when revisiting it, try out a heavier Bell, try a longer block of Q&D. if you're constantly running different workouts & programs just...

Do you Snatch with your thumb facing Forward or Backward?

@devonna All of the above. I’ve messed around pretty extensively with thumbs forward, backward and neutral. I’ve hit SSST with thumbs forward, I just got 95 32KG in 5 minutes with thumbs back the other day. It seems entirely preference based to me. Lately I’ve been liking thumbs forward in the...

Where do you get your workouts from?

@soombing What kind of hard ass does the 5 minute test with 32KG LOL. I’m gonna try it at some point just to see. I’m writing up my review of it and will post it shortly I just need my manual first which was late to arrive!!!

Where do you get your workouts from?

@ohsosoveriegn And if it means anything, she is extremely kind and an excellent coach. If she takes in person clients and you're around, I learned a shit load from her.

Where do you get your workouts from?

@ohsosoveriegn Dude I just did my RKC with Kelly L Matthews. She’s a complete legend. She passed technique tests using the men’s weights, and smoked the 100 snatch test in 3 minutes. Amazing coach, whatever she’s doing is worth listening to.

    Strongfirst GPP

@dboruff11 Yeah it really did. Rest is pretty overrated imo. I've been training 6 days a week for a long time now & progress doesn't stop

    Strongfirst GPP

@dboruff11 Its a bit complicated & I've got a write up on it somewhere. But essentially I did two things. I first started with a block inspired by Krypteia from 531. I would set a 45 minute timer & the goal would be to hit 75 clean & presses on Day A. or 75 double kb front squats on Day B...

@justenough74 Yeah I'm aware & I'm not interested in giving any hardstyle related company any more money.

    Strongfirst GPP

@goat You make a good point. I say the issue you raise is the issue with minimalist programs in nature. I'd also like to point out that a lot of strongfirst people you see with amazing results don't really workout how is often advertised online. I've been working with @ngie for pretty much 2...
