    @xerdaj Yes, yes, yes. I think the word deficit has a negative commotion but it’s good! Extra fat isn’t good for the body and deficits help kill that extra chunk.

    @sscablao I think what makes this logic OK is the realization that you need to start maintenance at a healthy weight. Deficit is not long term.
