When are we actually going to start talking fitness?

No doubt, I plan on it!

When are we actually going to start talking fitness?

@jobar Can I ask what you asked? I’d be happy to help?

When are we actually going to start talking fitness?

@jos36 Yeah I get you, but if they do something unique like make it affordable, more palatable, fun fancy spin I’m for it. I think it also beats repeating that you do need protein to build muscle, just not from our sentient friends :)

When are we actually going to start talking fitness?

@jos36 Yes and no, as long as it’s not generic and unique in nature I’m all for it

When are we actually going to start talking fitness?

@michelett Sorry friend still love you

When are we actually going to start talking fitness?

@atinob I would love too! Although I have no idea how to go about contacting the mods of the subreddit as I don’t think they’re super active on reddit anyways.

When are we actually going to start talking fitness?

@atinob Response to a deleted comment I didn’t say I was qualified, nor would I say my Q&A would be flawless. I really don’t think a majority of the Q&As written on Reddit are written by people who are “qualified”. Being physically fit is not very subjective, I’m saying if you are overweight...

When are we actually going to start talking fitness?

@somerton Good point, but I think it’s nice to bounce it off people who have similar views. If you release the same question into a general sub you may have a bunch of people posting discouraging things. I’d love for us to become a support system. Although I totally understand what you’re saying

When are we actually going to start talking fitness?

@johnab How do I tack my response so people can stop making the point about powerlifters. I never directly called out powerlifters, I’m into strength sports myself. However if you’re 250 pounds for the sake of being a “powerlifter” it’s not really a vegan feat on strength. I’d say the same thing...

When are we actually going to start talking fitness?

@tammyp Yeah just a misunderstanding again, and judging how people who follow the diet are, how I eat would not be considered that. I use protein powders and bars

When are we actually going to start talking fitness?

@flapjack83 Yeah just coming off wrong. Just trying to dispel the person painting me as a cranky redditor to get laughs when I just want a useful source for people. I did my first “cut” WFPB and it was spectacular. I just enjoy some variety and fun sauces. Ya dig?

When are we actually going to start talking fitness?

@folashade Nope not saying that, I do not eat a WFPB diet, I eat a well balanced diet and that is part of being fit.

When are we actually going to start talking fitness?

@godswill1 I don’t think the two of us ever said we want experts in fitness only, as the two of us don’t even have a metric to base who is it isn’t an expert. Grovemou5 and I agree that it’s filled with nonsense and what would really be helpful, which I can see you’ve said below, would be a Q&A...

When are we actually going to start talking fitness?

@dawn16 Hey man, everyone has been civil in this post so don’t be snippy. Never said I was so sorry if you thought that

When are we actually going to start talking fitness?

@bluesky68 No you haven’t so sorry if what I said made it seem like that. I guess what I really have to say is, it’s not my main point. I really just think this sub is half moderated and filled with nonsense, which I know every subreddit is, but not this much. I wish like you’ve said in other...

When are we actually going to start talking fitness?

@bluesky68 Can I actually ask how, in a non-confrontational way. I just really think the point of fitness is to be healthy, I really don’t think that’s “being too strict”
  17. J

When are we actually going to start talking fitness?

@bluesky68 No, not really as I’ve said this. You can be fit for a sport as displaying a type of fitness related to the sport I.e. strong man. You can be a healthy strongman competitor, or a healthy powerlifter but there are some who are not. I’m talking about the ones who are not. Maybe I am...

When are we actually going to start talking fitness?

@bluesky68 I’m a huge advocate for flexible dieting and count macros. You certainly can be fit while eating mock meats and while working towards strength oriented goals. It certainly isn’t ideal to get to a bulk of your protein from mock meats, due their high fat content and low fiber. I never...

When are we actually going to start talking fitness?

I feel like this sub is a catfish, it should be a cumulative expression of vegans being athletic. Some of these people are lifting heavy weights but their body composition is trash. It’s poorly moderated, there’s not even a Q&A so people can stop posting the same damn thing, Where do I get...
