    @sally_wheeler To get around 180g of protein, I cut the grains. I stick to tofu, beans, fake meats. I sprinkle nutritional yeast/flax/hemp on the tofu/beans. Ezekiel bread is also high protein. That gets me to 150 or so. Then I drink one soy protein shake. I think I'm reasonably under 2000 calories.

    @sally_wheeler You don't need as much protein when you're in caloric surplus. The research suggests 2.2 g/kg of lean body mass is about the maximum benefit. Assuming you have 15% percent body fat, you would max out protein benefit at 63 * .85 * 2.2 = 117g of protein. And thats the high end. Not...

    Meati - worth it?

    @stugray I've been waiting for meati for a long time. It's been pricey and unavailable in stores for a while (still in RnD). But it's lean mycoprotein and looks delicious. I probably wouldn't make it a staple until it's cheaper. But now and then it's good. I'd check price per g of protein.
