@presmom22 The fact that nowadays nearly all of them are in position where they can sacrifice everything else to train and achieve their goals.
It’s not about them being on more drugs than anyone else because these drugs are rife through all levels of the sport and available all the way down...
@giftsigns Mal O’Brien and Haley Adams just said they were thanking time off to sort themselves out. Hence less mocking and grief compared to the people who insist a god or a christ told them CF was bad and they need to do something else. Which is weird, religions are weird.
@peacefulocean This isn’t really true as steroids and all the other PEDs are rife throughout all sports (including CrossFit) down to the lowest levels. Are the top athletes on PEDs? Probably most of them. But that’s not why they’re at the top (and I’m not condoning PED use in sport).
@priest4him I’d probably come out too fast from the start, totally gas out early and spend the remainder of my time being overtaken by everyone else as I die.
That or not scale appropriately and end up in a similar situation.
@giftsigns She announced it on Instagram. That’s pretty public what with her having (quickly looks on IG) over 171k followers as well as the IG algorithms suggesting CF stuff to people as well. And on YouTube.
@psalms91forme If something isn’t working then carrying on without changing anything is stupid. Listen to your coach, reduce the calories/carbs, increase protein and see some results. If you’re happy with a bigger gut then carry on
@reebern I do miss Reebok and all the bright games kit they supplied the athletes. As opposed to No Bull and their black, white, grey, off-white and blue that they’ve had for the last few years.
