    No gains after months?

    @paulotarsus If OP is male, it’s extremely unlikely he’s exhausted novice gains. He’s not trained hard enough to get those gains.

    Help moving forward with workouts

    @flelsfdc Sounds great! Well done.
  3. Q

    How does everyone balance all their fitness needs as you age?

    @bridgida Lift 3 times per week following an established full body beginner programme. Happy to help you choose one. Do some low intensity cardio 2-3 times per week. Rowing, swimming, hiking, whatever. Stretch if you feel you must, but you should be getting a good stretch from squats, pulls...

    Help moving forward with workouts

    Seeking strength programming recommendations for 52y/o finishing Greyskull LP w/ Phraks variant

    @uniseal I have nothing to recommend to a 185lb guy who can do 54 chin ups. You’ve won the game.

    L Carnitine and cardio

    @richardj Your body burns a combination of glucose and fat. There’s no trigger or switch. You lose weight by being a deficit. Your friend has no idea what he’s talking about. As you say, your real problem is that you’ve developed an emotional dependence on food. It’s infinitely easier not to...

    37 y/or male feeling dejected and hopeless following shoulder injury. Any feedback/help would be appreciated

    @fausto1973 No reason at all to stop doing the lifts you can do without pain. ‘Imbalances’ are mostly nocebo nonsense.
