@ashamedguy I, too, am 59 and I just came in from a short run, BTW. My tip is…don’t stop. If you’re waiting to be ‘motivated,’ you’ll never be motivated. Do the ACTION, it gets the RESULTS and then keeps you MOTIVATED. Literally…even if it’s 5 miles a week…don’t stop.
 
@ashamedguy Learning from you, I am not very old but I have a very specific interest in working out and sports. My experience tells me that don't diet (keep up with nutrition), persevere (don't stop), the quality of sleep has a complementary effect on exercise. Finally, I wish myself to be in good health like you after 50!
