Can I do 3 days barbell full body + 1-2 days of calisthenics per week?

@tomahawk888 Absolutely, that's my workout plan. I compete in powerlifting, Armlifting (grip) ,Singles pickleball and the training is 3 full body 2 hour gym workouts plus 2 multi hour singles games a week.

Recovery is the limiting factor. At 49 I have to sleep well, hit my protein shakes on top of meals and if I feel hurt I've learned to take a day off and don't just play through the pain.

Good luck, it's possible, I'm setting records for my state in powerlifting, pickleball not so much. My legs are never 100% recovered so that's the tradeoff for me .

I don't care how I place in pickleball tourneys, those are to stay motivated and pickleball keeps me thin to barely squeeze into the 164 lb and below weight class
