@penaia I'm on basically the exact same timeframe and progression pace as you! Worked with a 35lb randomly prior to the new year, but started S&S earnestly in January. Started swinging and TGU on 32kg like 4 weeks ago. Can't do volume on 1-handed swings yet, but TGU and 2-handeds feeling good.
@penaia Congratulations my friend! I’m just at the beginning of my journey, concentrating on getting my 2 handed swings dialled in. My TGU form will definitely need attention though. I’ve got a couple of questions... Was there any flexibility issues you needed to address during your process? Did any particular YouTube tutorials really help you with TGU?
@songbird27 God no. Pressing from standing is quite different from pressing up while lying down in a bench press position. Guess it’s more chest than shoulders in a TGU to get the bell off the ground.
My push strength has definitely increased significantly though. 16s a toy now to push. 24 is very hard but doable.
@penaia Happy days, I'm starting with the 32 the week after next, I should complete Simple around March, wondering what to do then, ROP or the 10K challenge are what I'm thinking at the moment.
